Soulland is taking a walk on the wild side for their highly anticipated third outing with the Swoosh, titled 3.0.

2019 has shaped up to be a pretty impressive year for Copenhagen’s blossoming streetwear headliner Soulland; marked by their monumental SS20 runway show at Copenhagen Fashion Week which saw the brand debut their first full womenswear collection to huge praise, as well as delivering a stylised homage to Playboy’s legacy with an impressive collaborative collection. While the end of the year is just on the horizon, Soulland isn’t finished just yet, as they lace up their kicks for a sprint finish alongside Nike SB for the third instalment of their ongoing collaboration.

Each of the first two iterations of Soulland x Nike SB’s concept has served as a celebration; a celebration of Soulland’s founders Silas Adler and Jacob Kampp Berliner’s appreciation of SB’s unique positioning within both skate and streetwear culture, and a highly provocative design ethos. This risk-taking attitude has allowed the pair great freedoms to push the boundaries of expectation when it comes to Nike SB as a whole, wholeheartedly embodying the attitude and flair that has characterised skateboarding for decades. For the third collaborative outing, the spotlight has been shifted to the Nike SB Blazer Mid as the silhouette gets one of its wildest treatments to date.

Where the first two iterations of focused on the stylistic energy of LA, 3.0 looks to Japanese skate culture, setting the shoe’s upper in a full earth-toned snakeskin wrap. Detailing is heavy throughout with tonal tumbled leather appearing at the heel, drawing further attention to the oversized chenille textured Swoosh that sits at the rear. The striking upper is further offset by the subtle off-white colouring of the medial Swoosh, heel, and tongue, while snakeskin patterned laces and a deep red “” graphic across the outsole pull everything together.

Mark your calendars as the Soulland x Nike SB’s Blazer Mid 3.0 is set to land at Soulland next week on November 22nd.
