Vivienne Westwood frames ASICS iconic footwear in a new light with the launch of a new two-piece collaborative collection.
The iconic sports performance and classic silhouettes of ASICS meet heritage British design as Vivienne Westwood connects with the brand for their first-ever collaboration. Marking the beginning of their relationship is an exclusive capsule collection that puts the spotlight on the GEL-KAYANO 5 OG and GEL-MAI Knit.
Following a well-received reintroduction in 2018, the GEL-KAYANO 5 OG continues to steam through the sneaker game with regular updates. This limited edition style provides the boldest take on the silhouette yet, with a powerful red, orange, and blue colour palette filling the full length of the shoe. Rounding off the double drop is the GEL-MAI Knit that opts for a subtler colouring of white and red that allows the knit details and high top shape of the shoe to speak for itself.
This initial drop of two silhouettes will pave the way for a further three collaborative styles that are set to drop throughout 2019. The first drop of the ASICS X Vivienne Westwood collaboration is available now via Vivienne Westwood and select retailers.
