Innovation continues to come to the sneaker world to start off 2019. Days before Nike releases its first auto-lacing basketball sneaker at retail, the Adapt BB, a Puma sneaker with another technological upgrade has surfaced. Cult-favorite South Korean streetwear label Ader Error has been teasing its latest work with the brand for Spring/Summer 2019 on social media. A new clip shows off an RS-X with a built-in bluetooth speaker.

While the teaser does not showcase much of the shoe, the rest of it appears to be constructed of traditional materials like a mesh upper, suede overlays, and reflective detailing. Minimal Ader Error branding can also be seen emblazoned on the lateral heel. This pair's main feature is obviously the functional speaker system housed in the midsole complete with two buttons to control volume.

This is not the first time that Ader Error has created a crazy mashup sneaker like this either. Last week, the brand showcased a variation of its latest RS-1 with a working projector installed in the toe

According to Ader Error's Instagram page, the Puma RS-X "Speaker Shoes" will be available on Feb. 14 at 9 p.m. (Seoul time). Despite the teaser, the retail version might unfortunately lack a sound system in its sole, as the brand recently teased an RS-1 sneaker with a projector that was not featured on the final iteration. Take a look at the speaker shoes in action below.
