Giannis Antetokounmpo has quickly become one of the most dominate young players in the NBA. In fact, the 23-year old is such a talent that Nike decided he was next in line to be blessed with his first signature sneaker. After months of speculation following Nike CEO Mark Parker's Dec. 2017 announcement of the Greek Freak 1, it appears that we may have a first visual of the silhouette.

Thanks to @sneakonomist on Instagram, a teaser image of what will reportedly be the Greek Freak's first sneaker has surfaced. The design consists of a black mesh upper with welded overlays and sits on a white midsole. The most notable feature is the giant backwards Swoosh that extends to the heel portion of the midsole. Antetokounmpo's personal "GA" logo appears on the tongue in the Milwaukee Bucks's green and white colors. Merely a visual, tech specs are currently unavailable for the big man's performance shoe.

Nike's faith in the future of Antetokounmpo began when the brand signed him to a long-term deal back in Nov. 2017. More recently, the Bucks superstar took to Twitter to ask fans what they wanted to see from the shoe, which further increased its anticipation.
