A rare player exclusive serves as the inspiration for an upcoming Nike Air Foamposite Pro.
Although Ben Gordon's NBA career was short-lived, the London import came out of UConn with a ton of buzz, earning the third overall pick from the Chicago Bulls in the 2004 draft. Nike wasted little time in hooking the shooting guard up with exclusives, which included a vivid blue Foamposite Pro PE. Now, over a decade later, a similar pair is making its way to retail.
The shade of blue is different on this 2016 release, but many of the details remain the same. There's the solid blue outsole, leather eyestay, and of course, the large plastic Swoosh that adorns the side. Per new info from @BALTsneakerShow, we now know that this Ben Gordon-inspired Foamposite Pro will be dropping on August 26 for $230.
