Back in June, we previewed a "Black/Cement" leak of the upcoming Nike Air Trainer Cruz sneaker, but it looks like that's not the only famous colorway that will be re-enacted on the new model.
Instagram seller @stashholdings let loose a "Red October" take on the sneaker, which is set to serve as Victor Cruz's first signature model. Thanks to design cues like the forefoot strap, textured back panel, and retro midsole, the Air Trainer Cruz already had a decidedly "Yeezy" vibe, and now it's all but confirmed that these took some major inspiration from Kanye's previous work with Nike. Seeing as Cruz himself has been spotted in Yeezys on multiple occasions, this shouldn't come as much of a surprise.
As of now, there's still no confirmed release date for the Nike Air Trainer Cruz, but you can expect them to arrive at retailers this fall. Check back for more soon.
