In the gym, it's important to have sneakers that support you from all angles without restricting your movement, which is exactly what Nike has focused on with its newest Free Trainer update, the 3.0 V4.
The sneaker's low to the ground Free 3.0 tooling remains relatively unchanged, but the entire upper has been revamped for optimum flexibility and strength. The majority of the sneaker is constructed with a newly engineered knit mesh that expands its length to provide flex during forward movement and tightens into place during lateral transitions for support.
“The circular knit material in the upper creates a one-to-one fit against the foot. This prevents slippage when an athlete is changing direction. When the foot is securely locked down, athletes can transition much faster while cutting and breaking," a Nike Training specialist said in a press release.
But they're not just a great gym shoe — the cozy knit looks like it will shift to the streets with ease. Launching on July 8, the Nike Free Trainer 3.0 V4 will be available from Nikestore and select retailers.
