Imagine this scenario: you're up bright and early, lined up at your local sneaker store to cop the weekend's hottest release. While you're waiting in queue, a talk show host approaches and challenges you and your peers to a competition that will not only allow you to skip the line, but get the shoes for free.

That's exactly what happened last month at Los Angeles' Shiekh Shoes during the launch of the Air Jordan VII "Marvin the Martian". English comedian James Corden, host of CBS' The Late Late Show with James Corden, hit the streets and challenged sneakerheads to put their knowledge to the test in a trivia competition.

After receiving some ridicule for his Margiela slip-ons, Corden quickly selects his three contestants who are then subjected to a ridiculous round of trivia. Questions include, "Michael Jordan has six rings. Name all three of the Lord of the Rings books" and "who is the current king of Jordan?"

Eventually, the contest is decided in a physical challenge round, where each participant jumps on a trampoline in effort to recreate MJ's iconic Jumpman pose. You'll have to hit the video to see which lucky sneakerhead walked away with the free pair.
