Sneakerheads hate resellers, and it looks like the University of Oregon does, too.

According to Ducks community site Addicted to Quack, the school will sue students if they resell the latest "Oregon Pit Crew" Nike sneaker.

The Pit Crew is a group of intense students who attend basketball games and show school spirit with unmatched fervor. For their loyal support, the University of Oregon rewards them with limited-edition sneakers. In 2011, it was an Air Jordan III that now fetches over $5K.

As part of being gifted the new sneaker, which is a green/yellow high-top complete with silhouettes of trees, students of the Pit Crew had to sign a contract agreeing not to resell the sneaker for the next five years. If the agreement is broken in the five-year time frame, Nike could take legal action.

Welp, looks like this is one way to deter resellers.
