Ronnie Fieg's ASICS Gel Lyte III "Super Green" was made to help people. The sneakers never hit Kith's retail space and instead, the NYC designer teamed up with Soles 4 Souls last year to donate 300 pairs of the sneakers to the people of Haiti.
Continuing with the sneaker's charitable roots, Fieg has donated a pair of the special ASICS to help benefit Bradley Carbone, the former lifestyle editor for Complex and current marketing manager for adidas Originals. Carbone was involved in a snowboarding accident in February and sustained a spinal cord injury. The proceeds from the auction of the size 9 "Super Green" Gel Lyte IIIs will benefit Carbone's recovery.
The auction as well as the other sneakers and items available can be viewed on ForBradleyCarbone.com. Bidding ends on December 15 at 10 a.m. EST. You can also support Carbone through The Bradley Carbone Recovery Fund.
