adidas introduces the first "natural running" collection by the brand, adapting the adiPure technology to accomodate three levels of minimal runners.

The adiPure Motion (for beginners), Gazelle (intermediate) and Adapt (advanced) range from a 11mm to 4mm drop, putting less between the runner and the road. The sock-like fit ensures maximum flexibility with a stretch mesh and polyurethane upper that is said to provide support in all the right places. This continuing approach to minimal footwear pushes athletes to rethink their running posture by focusing the impact on the forefront of the foot and less on the heelstrike method promoted by well-cushioned kicks.

These will be available in mid-August for $90, $100, and $110 at adidas and specialty running retailers.
