Julia Fox, who briefly dated Kanye West earlier this year, said that Ye poses no real danger to either Kim Kardashian or her new boyfriend Pete Davidson.

When TMZ approached the Uncut Gems actress this week, she was asked if Kim and Pete should be worried for their safety amid Ye’s onslaught of posts about them both on Instagram. “No, no no no, Kanye’s harmless,” she said, to which the interviewer highlighted that Yeezy had threatened violence against the SNL star in particular. “I just think that’s his artistic creative expression. I know it’s aggressive, but I really don’t… I think if it really came down to it, I don’t think Kanye would hurt a fly.”

She was additionally asked if she had reached out to Ye since their split, but she confirmed they hadn’t spoken recently. Asked if he poses a danger to himself, though, she replied, “I’m not really sure … But I’ll give him a call and I’ll find out.” Right at the end of the video, she also joked, “This is a public appeal to anyone who wants to date me, I’m single and my DMs are open!”

Julia Fox and Kanye first met late 2021, and by January they confirmed they were dating. However, just a month later, she confirmed they had split. A representative for Fox said the two "remain good friends and collaborators but they are no longer together."

Ye has been concerning fans and critics with his more recent behavior, but most of the criticism he’s received has been in regard to how he’s handled his divorce from Kim and her relationship with the SNL star. While in a relationship with Fox, the multi-hyphenate publicly pleaded for his family to be reunited.

The situation escalated after Ye shared the video for his song with The Game, “Eazy,” which featured an animated version of Pete Davidson getting murdered by him. As the video continued to spark controversy, Kanye responded and said that “art is not a proxy for any ill or harm.”
