Per the Cary Joji Fukunaga-directed No Time to Die's official synopsis, fans will enter the latest Bond chapter to find the prolific agent of international sleuthiness having exited active service in favor of a calmer existence in Jamaica. However, as this is a movie, that calmness is ultimately disrupted with a request for assistance from CIA pal Felix Leiter, which sends Bond and company on a mission to save a kidnapped scientist.

To the intense excitement of myself and other Fleabag enthusiasts, No Time to Die notably boasts some writing input from Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
Detailing her contributions in a recent BBC radio chat, Waller-Bridge said she was brought aboard to add "little spices" to the script.
"They were just looking for tweaks across a few of the characters and a few of the storylines," she said last month, perVariety. "When I came on board I was just facilitating as [many] of their ideas and their instincts as possible." Among the added spice, she specified, were some "bits and pieces of my own."
No Time to Die arrives five years after the release of Spectre and also marks the first in the franchise to be distributed internationally by Universal.
