Just in case you aren't caught up on new episodes of Star vs. the Forces of Evil, here's something to inspire you. The Disney XD series recently aired multiple same-sex kisses in the episode "Just Friends," Mashablereported Tuesday. The episode is a historic move for the network, marking the first same-sex kiss in a Disney cartoon.

In the scene, Star vs. the Forces of Evil's main characters hit up a boy band concert where the romantic vibes of a song called "Just Friends" inspires a wave of kissing action in the audience. At least two same-sex couples, in separate shots, are seen kissing. Previously, Disney has made efforts toward representation and diversity on series Good Luck Charlie and Gravity Falls.

Star vs. the Forces of Evil, created by Daron Nefcy, features the voice talent of Eden Sher (Veronica Mars), Adam McArthur (Star Wars: The Clone Wars), Alan Tudyk (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), as well as occasional pop-ins from My Big Fat Greek Wedding's Nia Vardalos and comedian Nick Swardson. The series was renewed for a fourth season on Tuesday, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Nickelodeon made some history of its own last July with the introduction of the network's first same-sex married couple on The Loud House. An episode featured the introduction of interracial, same-sex couple Harold (Wayne Brady) and Howard (Michael McDonald). Harold and Howard, the McBrides, are the parents of the main character's best friend Clyde:
