Though The Butler has already gone into production and shooting, Lee Daniels is still casting for the film, adding to an already star-studded cast that includes Liam Neeson, Liev Schreiber, Minka Kelly, Forest Whitaker, Jane Fonda, and Robin Williams. The newest addition? Nelsan Ellis, perhaps best known for his role as Lafayette Reynolds on True Blood. According to Deadline, he will portray Martin Luther King Jr.
As for the plot of the film itself, The Butler follows the story of one butler who is employed at the White House for three decades, serving eight presidents. It's based on the true life story of Eugene Allen.
