Though ratings still aren't at the 20 million that Simon Cowell was hoping for at the start of the series, Fox has opted to renew The X Factor for a third season set to premiere next year. No word on if new judges Britney Spears and Demi Lovato will be back next year, but we can rest assured that Cowell will definitely be back - it was his tweet that confirmed the show's renewal - and probably judge L.A. Reid, because let's be real, he's the Randy Jackson of X Factor.
