As expected, the newly released James Bond film, Skyfall, is killing it in the box office. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Friday box office reports show the film's earnings at around $30.8 million, with an expected weekend total around $80 million if all goes according to projections.
Considering how the film performed in Europe upon it's release earlier this month - it's been named the biggest Bond film of all time in the UK, the biggest debut of 2012 in Germany, and the biggest debut of all time in Switzerland - these numbers are no surprise. Worldwide, the film has earned a total of $400 million, and it's predicted to surpass $600 million soon. Not bad, to say the least.
