While it's worth noting that the plot of 22 Jump Street seems to mirror the plot of 21 Jump Street a lot—cops Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) are back in school to investigate a new drug that's making the rounds on campus, except this time they're in college, and their home base is right across the street from 21 Jump Street—on 22 Jump Street. Judging by this new (green band, so totally SFW) trailer, though, everything else is pretty much the same—so, y'know, at least they're in their comfort zone!
The plot may be similar, but not at the cost of the duo's appeal—Hill and Tatum still have as much bromance chemistry as they did in the first film. The only disappointing thing: The absence of Brie Larson, who won't be returning for this film (but at the very least, it looks like she'll be seen in some new projects very soon).
