Perhaps if George Clooney's Ryan Bingham character wasn't so busy trying to rack up air miles in Up in the Air he would've seen that Omaha isn't so bad — especially on the first Friday of every month. Beginning at 6 p.m., Old Market, Omaha's haven for the hip, welcomes the cultured and creative on their Art Walks. Galleries host openings for featured artists every first Friday, and the locals create most of the art. When the Art Walks end at 9 p.m., head over to the Nomad Lounge or Arthur's Lounge where we're pretty sure a First Friday themed party will be in full effect.
