Dan Cathy's bigoted remarks continue to affect his finances; first the mayor of Boston told his city that no Chick-fil-A locations would be opening there, and now Chicago is looking to dead a proposed Chick-fil-Hate.

Chicago alderman Joe Moreno has said he'll be blocking the proposed location from opening in his 1st Ward: "If you are discriminating against a segment of the community, I don't want you in the 1st Ward... I will now be denying Chick-fil-A's permit to open a restaurant in the 1st Ward."

Mayor Rahm Emanuel chimed in, saying that "Chick-fil-A values are not Chicago values."

If history is any indication, Moreno's aldermanic privilege will not be questioned, and this Chick-fil-A will not open. Good work, Moreno.
