Part of the Boston Independent Film Festival, which starts this week, this Norwegian film takes a Blair Witch-style approach to a subject that sounds pretty laughable at first. After a series of bear poachings, some documentary filmmakers head to the woods to investigate. They stumble upon a man in the woods whose gruff, standoffish nature leads them to believe that he is the one doing the killings...until they realize he's actually hunting trolls. Very large trolls. Hilarious in concept, the film actually works as a horror piece at times.
