Okay, so we all know characters like Tommy Vercetti, CJ Johnson, or any character from the Grand Theft Auto series deserves to be thrown in jail. I mean, they’re coming right out of it by the time we get a hold of them.

But some video game characters are committing crimes and we don’t even realize it. We just take it as their nature. And their nature just happens to be a criminal offense. Here are some of those criminal cases. Don’t let them into your home.

Intro

We rounded up some usual (and some unusual) suspects for their alleged video game crimes. These mugshots feature old-school bosses and new-school crooks, good guys gone bad, and bad guys gone worse. Only the pixels have been changed to protect the innocent.

Mega Man

Prisoner: Mega Man

Crime: Identity Theft

Borrowing their identity, or stealing them outright? Whenever Mega Man downs his foes, he changes into their costume and steals their powers, using them as his own. The guy’s a straight up thief, and we don’t trust him! The low down, dirty bastard.

Captain Commando

Prisoner: Captain Commando

Crime: Child Abuse

Sure, he may be a baby genius and can operate his own machine, but that still doesn’t give Captain Commando the right to lead the child (Baby Head) into a combat zone. Is negligence a crime? If it is, then the big captain deserves to be slapped with that, too. Shame on him!

Jill Valentine

Prisoner: Jill Valentine

Crime: Possession of Marijuana

And now for a real pothead, er, we mean, pot head, Jill Valentine. The lady’s stocking herbs in her inventory like it’s going out of style. What kind of message is that sending to the kids when that sticky icky brings her back to health? Won’t someone please think of the children?

The Burger King

Prisoner: The Burger King

Crime: Stalking

Yeah, we love us some burgers, too, but not at the expense of our personal safety. The Burger King, in the much maligned game, Sneak King, would stalk his victims before popping a whopper on them. And no, that’s not a euphemism. He would actually carry around whoppers on a tray and serve them to you. Freak.

The Characters in Jet Grind Radio

Prisoners: The Characters in Jet Grind Radio

Crime: Vandalism

This one’s just obvious. Sure, the man’s got you down, but that doesn’t give you a right to tag your name all over the city while Jurassic 5 plays in your headphones. Oh, and we’re pretty sure grinding off walls and rails is a crime, too. We fear for the future of this nation with youths as reckless as these.

Tony Hawk

Prisoner: Tony Hawk

Crime: Prostitution

Hey, man, what happened to you? You started out starring in respectable, popular games, but then, year after year, you came out with a new, crappier title, whoring yourself out for a profit. We loved you up until Tony Hawk Underground (or, THUG, as it’s often called), but Tony Hawk: Ride? Tony Hawk: Shred? Are you kidding us? Only a hardcore prostitute would allow their bodies and likenesses to be used like THAT for money. Shameful.

GLaDOS

Prisoner: GLaDOS

Crime: Cyber Bullying

We believed you, GLaDOS, but the cake was a lie. That was just one of the many taunts and tricks you played on us while we went through labyrinths and portals to reach you. All throughout the experience, all you did was tease us and mock our progress, and that’s bullying, GLaDOS, of the cyber variety since you’re a robot. Our feelings are still hurt.

The Brawlers in Street Fighter

Prisoners: The Brawlers in Street Fighter

Crime: Disturbing the Peace

We just wanted to enjoy our day off, sip our frappuccino, and sit outside. But instead, you with the Karate Kid gi, and you, with the stretchy legs and skulls around your neck, had to start fighting in the street, causing a ruckus.

It was bad enough that you were shooting projectiles and flying all over the place, possibly hurting somebody. But did the two of you also have to be so loud about it? If it's not "YOGA, YOGA, YOGA, YOGA FLAME!" It's "HADOUKEN! HADOUKEN, A-DA-DA-DOUKEN!" We mean, enough already! Can't you guys do this in a dojo or something? Yeesh.

Link

Prisoner: Link

Crime: Burglary

Link is a crook! He goes into houses and steals possessions from chests, sometimes even doing a little home remodeling with bombs to get what he wants. Not only that, but he stabs chickens, too. He’s just as bad as Michael Vick, if not worse. Damn the man!

Murder: Kratos

Prisoner: Kratos

Crime: Murder

Kratos from God of War isn’t even secretive about his dirty deeds. He’ll walk around with dude’s blood on his pasty skin like it’s an Armani suit. And he doesn’t even stop there. This guy is a god and titan killer! This guy deserves the maximum sentence! Put that man away!
