The Android-powered microconsole GameStick will begin shipping to backers in a couple weeks and will available to the public, at large, on September 30. The Kickstarter funded microconsole is smaller and more portable than its Ouya competitor but we’re still unclear the amount and quality of games available. With parcel funding from GameStop look for this console to be on every shelf this holiday season.
The GameStick retails at $79.99 and includes a compact Bluetooth controller and an HDMI dongle; all that nestle into the back of the controller making it nearly pocket sized and very portable.
