This Is the Scariest Dinner Party You'll Ever Attend: 'The Invitation'

Warning: This dinner party might make you crap your pants. Seriously. A new film from Jennifer's Body director Karyn Kusama got intense reactions and intensely positive reviews from the film festival circuit last year, and this highly anticipated new horror will be released in theaters and on VOD on March 25. That date can't come soon enough because the trailer above, which is all tense atmosphere and no plot giveaway, already has me on the edge of my damn seat. THE SUSPENSE!!!

This feels like a film that's best went into uninitiated, but the basic premise (if you want to know) is that a man accepts an invitation to his ex-wife and her new husband's dinner party, attended by strange, mysterious guests. I don't know much more beyond that—nor do I want to—but I know things go very, very wrong. Tom Hardy's doppleganger Logan Marshall-Green (hi, Trey from The O.C.) stars alongside Tammy Blanchard and Michiel Huisman.
