Dave Bautista and Kumail Nanjiani on 'Stuber' Stunts and Wrestlemania 35

'Stuber' stars Dave Bautista and Kumail Nanjiani talk their new film, working with Iko Uwais, and bonding over Dave's final WWE match at Wrestlemania 35.

In theaters now is Stuber, a new action-comedy starring Dave Bautista and Kumail Nanjiani as the oddest of couples set to take down a drug syndicate during one fateful Uber ride in Los Angeles. The film, which feels like a throwback to the '80s buddy comedies like Lethal Weapon and 48 Hrs., has a modern spin on it, including having two stars of Asian descent. It's also a lot of fun, and is the perfect summer box office getaway from the superhero industry.

Bautista and Nanjiani stopped by the Complex offices in New York to not only talk about all of that, but also how they bonded on set, which culminated on Nanjiani cheering on Bautista during Wrestlemania 35, which marked Dave's last match in a WWE ring. They also get into working on the insane stunts in this film, as well as balancing the funny between the two of them. The conversation also gets a little serious, with talk about diversity in Hollywood and how films like Stuber help combat that.

Check out the full interview up above, and then run (or catch an Uber) to the theaters to catch Stuber this weekend.
