While Marvel's Inhumans was largely considered by critics and fans alike to be a dud, it did establish one thing: Marvel's moved their operations on ABC to Fridays. On Friday, December 1, Marvel's Agents of SHIELD returns to ABC with a special two-hour premiere, and after teasing a surprise was on the way, Marvel and ABC released the first 17 minutes of the premiere online earlier today.
For anyone who's been waiting to find out (spoiler alert?) what happened to Agent Coulson and company being kidnapped in the season four finale, you find out that they ended up in space. As CBRpointed out, the whole squad isn't there: Daisy "Quake" Johnson and Leopold Fitz aren't seen this clip. While it makes sense that we'd not see Fitz on-board (because he hadn't made "the list"), Quake was along for the ride, so who knows where she ended up.
For those who are wondering, Comicbook.com does point out that it appears the Agents haven't just traveled in space, but they also appear to have traveled in time.
