The 15 Best Robbery Disguises In Movies

Robbing crews have long been a staple of Hollywood movies, taking down everything from convenience stores to banks and armored cars. The best of them have not only protected their identities (a must unless the stacks you want to count are cigarette cartons in prison) but have also done so with style that has been humorous, menacing, or downright weird.

In Citizen Gangster, out this weekend, Scott Speedman plays real-life Canadian bank robber, prison escapee, and folk hero Edwin Alonzo Boyd, who turned to crime to support his family when he was unable to find steady work after serving in the military during World War II. While pulling heists, Boyd wears basic costume makeup, which is a simple approach to the problem of being recognized. For more creative costumes, check out The 15 Best Robbery Disguises In Movies.
