Fort Worth, Texas, native Stephen Andrew Hall became a victim of his own stupidity after being sentenced to 45 years in jail for one too many DWIs. A judge decided that a fifth offense was one too many after the 59-year-old Hall was caught with a BAC level twice the legal limit last summer.
The local assistant district attorney said that the sentence will ensure that Hall "will not be able to drive a vehicle on our roads for a very long time." Hall will be eligible for a parole after serving a quarter of his sentence—11 years.
