Just when you thought bath salts had gone out of style, they return with a vengeance. Armed with a hammer, 36-year-old Ronnie Lee Hardesty stormed into Ross Campground Church in Tennessee and made a confession to the congregation: He was high on bath salts. Sheriff's deputies in Hawkins County agreed when they found him near the church, and tried to convince him to drop the hammer. Hardesty refused, the whole time yelling, "I'm not going back to jail."

Perhaps believing that he was Thor, Hardesty swung the hammer at officers during a fight, but was soon taken into custody. Authorities discovered hammer marks on the door of the church, and a syringe in Hardesty's sock. He was charged with aggravated assault, resisting arrest, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

After a hiatus, it appears that bath salts are back. Amen?
