Last Thursday, New York state police caught two men red-handed (though green-handed is more accurate) with 450 pounds of marijuana. 37-year-old Calvin Bennett of The Bronx and 29-year-old Roderick Johnson of Rochester were busted by a drug task force in the town of Clarendon.
Both were charged with criminal possession of marijuana and remain in custody on $200,000 bail. According to authorities, the marijuana was stored in a container that held office furniture and nine cardboard boxes. Inside each of the boxes, troopers found 50-pound bags of marijuana.
Nothing makes you reevaluate your decisions like a weekend in jail.
