Michael Jackson may have passed away in 2009, but with nearly three decades of hits under his belt and his place as the greatest entertainer of the 20th century questioned by few, his music will live on forever. Three days before what would’ve been his 53rd birthday DJ Dredd presents the Michael Jackson Birthday Celebration. Well-known on the D.C. nightlife circuit, Dredd will spin everything from rare Jackson 5 cuts to some of MJ’s biggest records beginning at 9 p.m. at the 9:30 Club.
This is an event for everyone, just as Michael Jackson’s music was for everyone, so expect a packed house. Tickets are $15, so don’t miss out on an off-the-wall night of MJ’s music and videos in D.C.
