This week, the Social Security Administration released information regarding 2012's most popular baby names, broken down by state. Nickmom.com went a step further, turning the data into an infographic which shows the most popular names by state and gender. For girls, "Emma" rules the Northeast, Midwest and South. For boys, "William" is clearly the King of the South. Still, the most popular overall names were "Sophia" for girls and "Jacob" for boys.
