Honolulu police officer Michael Chu's side hustle just got him in trouble with Johnny Law. Chu told a federal court that it was his girlfriend who got him involved with both growing and selling marijuana after he pleaded guilty to growing 48 marijuana plants and the intent to distribute 49 pounds of that Maui Wowie. His girlfriend, Athena Sui Lee, also entered a guilty plea this week.

Chu will be sentenced in December, making him a convicted felon which will prevent him from having a firearm in his possession at any time, which will pretty much make it impossible to be a cop.
