George Zimmerman's never-ending quest to infuriate rolls on.
Mere days after Zimmerman's latest painting—a depiction of State Attorney Angela Corey accompanied by the statement "I have this much respect for the American Judicial System"—was unveiled, the photographer who took the picture that inspired it is threatening to take legal action.
Associated Press photographer Rick Wilson has hired Jacksonville attorney John Phillips. Phillips told the Orlando Sentinel that Zimmerman should expect to hear from him if he continue to use the photo. "If you've seen the two photos, it's identical," Phillips said. "You just can't do that. You just can't take somebody else's work and make it your own."
Phillips took the photo at the Apr. 2012 press conference where Corey announced that Zimmerman was being charged with second-degree murder for fatally shooting 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.
For what it's worth, Zimmerman's already expressed his respect for the American judicial system through his most recent work of "art," so let's see how this plays out.
