A Pennsylvania man who reportedly fired a gun at his neighbor's house claims the incident happened because he doesn't know how to properly unload guns.
George Byrd IV of Bucks County, Pa. initially denied shooting his neighbor's house "multiple" times last Friday. However, the Courier Times explains that he told the truth during his arraignment, admitting that he "didn't know how to unload ammunition" due to a lack of knowledge about guns.
During a search of his home, police found a 12-gauge shotgun, a M77 long rifle, a .357 revolver, and assorted ammunition. The problem (aside from the shooting mishap) is that the 31-year-old was convicted of felony burglary when he was 17, meaning he's barred from having firearms in his possession.
Byrd faces charges for discharging a firearm into an occupied structure and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
