Rescue crews have now recovered the bodies of 30 victims who were aboard AirAsia Flight 8501 from the Java Sea today. The plane disappeared halfway through its two-hour trip from Surabaya, Indonesia, to Singapore on Sunday.

According to the Associated Press, 21 bodies were recovered during the most recent search, which had stalled for days due to poor weather. Search and Rescue Agency chief Henry Bambang Soelistyo told the Associated Press that a group of ships from the U.S., Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia are also searching for the black boxes.

Soelistyo added that authorities have only been able to confirm that two victims were in their seats at the time of the crash. The Associated Press added that four victims have been identified; their bodies have been returned to their families.

At the time, it's still unknown what led to the plane falling into the sea.
