According to officials, millions of dollars worth of heroin and hundreds of thousands of dollars worth crystal meth were seized from two New York City apartments, along with $120,000 in cash.

Gothamist reports that Pedro AbreuJaneison Garcia and Pablo Paulino were arrested on Monday after authorities spotted them going in and out of a Washington Heights building with bags. Inside of one apartment, they found 17 pounds of crystal meth hidden inside of a secret compartment in the bathroom, as well as $120,000 in cash.

In addition, 100 grams of of heroin were also discovered inside of a jacket placed in the closet, along with "burners, drug ledgers" and an electrical bill for the other apartment. When they searched the other apartment, 24 bricks of heroin were found in a kitchen cabinet that you could only access by fiddling with a panel.

They also found 11 pounds of heroin stashed between a mattress and a box spring, five pounds of heroin in a bathroom, two pounds of heroin on a television stand and packaging used to assemble bricks of the drug. If that doesn't scream "trap house," the advanced surveillance system certainly did.

When it was all said and done, the seizure produced a total of $12 million in heroin and $500,000 in meth. Finding all of that was probably as strenuous as semi-renovating the apartments to hide it.
