Don't let the talk of a chicken wing shortage scare you—people will throw down today. The National Chicken Council has already said that 1.23 billion chicken wings will be consumed today, and while that's still about 12 million less than football fans ate last year, it's still a lot of chicken.
If each of the wings are three inches long, that would fill up a football field 1,083,333 times over. Crisis avoided, so enjoy Super Bowl XLVll today.
