Former teen star Andrew Keegan is suing a Venice Beach fish taco joint for an alleged beatdown. Keegan, probably best known for his role in 10 Things I Hate About You, claims that he was "minding his own business on the sidewalk outside" when the bouncers at James Beach opened a can of whoop-ass on him before placing him in a choke-hold back in 2010.

Keegan says that the attack wasn't provoked, and that he suffered serious injuries as a result. He's seeking at least $25,000 in damages. It turns out that James Beach is quite famous as well: the restaurant, and it's amazing $19 fish tacos appeared in the 2009 film I Love You, Man.

Maybe the bouncers were big fans of 10 Things I Hate About You and can't separate film and reality.
