Mischa Barton is joining the cast of MTV’s The Hills reboot.
Barton will star alongside returning members from the original series—Audrina Patridge, Brody Jenner, Whitney Port, Spencer Pratt, and more. According to a press release from MTV, the show will "reunite original cast members, alongside their children and friends, and follow their personal and professional lives while living in Los Angeles. With new faces in the picture and returning favorites, 'The Hills' is back for a new beginning."
Barton rose to fame for her role as Marissa Cooper on the Fox series The O.C.
Barton took to Instagram on Wednesday to address her decision to join the cast of The Hills reboot, calling the opportunity an "irresistibly inviting new chapter."
The Hills: New Beginnings will premiere in 2019. In the meantime, you can check out a short teaser for the show that was released back in August up top via YouTube.
