Since his debut in The New Teen Titans #2 in 1980, Deathstroke has been one of the most dangerous baddies in the DC Universe. His enhanced fighting abilities and impressive regenerative powers are just some of the reasons why Slade Wilson has pretty much every hero and villain alike drenched in sweat in his mere presence. And for DC's "New 52" initiative, the company has given Deathstroke the spotlight in his own solo series, written by the brilliant Kyle Higgins (Nightwing, Batman: Gates of Gotham) with art by Eduardo Pansica.
We here at Complex are happy to present you an exclusive preview of Deathstroke #8, on sale on April 11. If you're a bit behind on your comic book reading, here is DC's official synopsis of the issue:
"As Slade Wilson recovers from the events of last issue, his past and future converge in the form of a bounce-back mission that reminds him why he started down the path as a mercenary to begin with. While Slade weighs whether or not to soldier on, the story of his childhood, military enrollment and first mission as Deathstroke is explored!"
