Christoph Waltz is rumored to be the next James Bond villain. As much as we love that rumor, we're intrigued by this one coming not from left field, but from another dimension. Stephen Hawking is shamelessly offering himself up to be 007's next foe.

In an interview with Wired Hawking said, "My ideal role would be a baddie in a James Bond film. I think the wheelchair and the computer voice would fit the part."

We certainly can't argue with that. But he's selling himself short by not listing his intelligence as a qualification. Given that he's smart enough to solve the Black Hole paradox, we think he could come up with a plan good enough to temporarily stall Bond. Shit, if the writers really wanted to shock viewers Hawking could come up with a plan that would actually defeat Bond.

That's mind over matter, homie.
