The first teaser for Dope gave us an idea of the characters by showing us their Tumblr-aggregated interests. This trailer sticks with that aesthetic while also giving us a more straightforward plot synopsis. Malcolm (Shameik Moore), a self-admitted 90s hip-hop nerd, wants to ditch his straight-laced reputation to become "dope." To do so he'll have to win over Zoe Kravitz and sell drugs he got from A$AP Rocky's drug dealer character.
