A new Castlevania web series has begun on Start, IGN's video channel. Castlevania: Hymn of Blood debuted yesterday, and as you can see, it does have a fair amount of production value behind it.
With the recent Assassin's Creed and Half-Life fan-films, it seems that not only has the film-making process been democratized, but these fans have a firmer grasp on the source material than most major Hollywood studios.
