Calling all fans of late eighties cinema: f you’ve got cash and an affinity for gadgets, you can soon be the proud owner of the coolest hoverboard around. One of the original hoverboards from the film Back to the Future: Part II will officially hit auction this fall. That’s right, YOU can own Marty McFly’s hoverboard.

The pink hoverboard Michael J. Fox used in the famed sequel will go on sale in October and is estimated to bring in around 15,000 pounds (about $25,000). The auction will be held by Vue Entertainment and Prop Store and is said to be the biggest auction of film memorabilia ever held in the U.K.

Granted, it doesn’t actually hover, but that doesn't mean this piece of nostalgia isn't still worth a pretty penny. But if spending thousands on a non-functioning hoverboard isn’t really your thing (we can’t imagine why it wouldn’t be), the auction has plenty more up for grabs.

The London event will also feature a golden ticket from Willy Wonka, a leather jacket from Terminator 2, the Batmobile Mobile from Batman Forever and 300 more items you can expect to be equally as cool. The auction will start on October 1st and go through October 16th. Winners will be picked on the 16th. Good luck!
