Vin Diesel is just another huge Fast and Furious fan like the rest of us. He already has his sights set on the next (meaning the eighth, if you can believe it) installment of the drag-racing-superheroes franchise, set to come out in 2017.

And while there's still plenty we don't know about the upcoming movie (What will it be called? Who will play the villain? Will Romeo Santos make another cameo?), we now know that it will take place in New York City, thanks to Vin Diesel's Instagram.

Vin teases to New York here, which immediately makes you wonder how they're going to film those car chases in Manhattan. Still, the picture is a little confusing—producers have previously said that the movie's official release date is April 14, 2017, but here, Vin Diesel suggests that it's coming out in the summer. Maybe it means nothing—the dates are close enough—or maybe production is going to take a little longer than the crew expected.

So we have more questions than we have answers here, but still—New York! Just imagine that final fight scene on the Brooklyn Bridge (you know that's happening).
