The New Lifetime Series “Born in the Wild” Proves That There Are No Boundaries Left in Reality TV

The graphic first teaser for Lifetime's "Born in the Wild" proves there's nothing sacred when it comes to reality TV.

None

It’s over. Reality TV has officially passed the point of no return.

The first teaser for the new Lifetime docudrama Born in the Wild can be viewed here, and it is graphic, gross, and entirely unnecessary. It is like every childbirth video you’ve ever seen (hopefully not many), except it’s in the woods and there’s dramatic music built in.

Never mind the people who actually think going on this show is a good idea for their lives, health, or (most importantly) their baby; what does it say about those who watch it? What kind of precedent does this set when producers are pitching the next insane reality idea?

It’s all just a little too much. Where does this end? Where can we possibly go from here?

Soon enough, we may just find out.
