Production commenced in Atlanta this week on Survivor’s Remorse, a comedy series for Starz produced by LeBron James, Maverick Carter, Boston Red Sox Chairman Tom Werner, and Mike O’Malley. The comedy series centers on Cam Calloway (Jesse T. Usher), a basketball phenom who quite suddenly has to negotiate the trappings of wealth and fame.

Cam Calloway, along with his cousin and confidant Reggie Vaughn, move to Georgia to start Cam’s journey to success. The two confront the challenges of carrying opportunistic family members and their strong ties to the impoverished community that they come from. Cam, Reggie and an unforgettable group of characters wrestle with the rewards and pitfalls of stardom, love and loyalty.
Survivor's Remorse is slated to debut on Starz this fall, and the initial run will last six episodes. While LeBron may think he’s picked a winner here, we’d say for now that he should probably hang on to his day job.
