“Hercules” Star Gets Racist When Writing About Ferguson Protestors

The former star of "Hercules" had some terrible, racist things to say about Ferguson protestors.

Before you hyperventilate, no, we’re not talking about The Rock. He would never say something like this.

No, the Hercules in question is Kevin Sorbo, star of the TV show Hercules: The Legendary Journeys that aired from 1995 to 1999. Sorbo—a rabid and outspoken conservative—doesn’t think too much of the Ferguson protestors, calling them “losers” and “animals” in a since-deleted, insane Facebook post.

While the opinion of an F-List celebrity matters little, it’s still sad to see people ignorant of what’s really going on in Ferguson lash out like this. Sorbo has a platform, and while it’s a very small one that is probably not actually changing anyone’s opinion, the mere fact that he is spouting off such hate is disheartening to see.

There’s really only one solution here: Lucy Lawless AKA Xena: Warrior Princess needs to chime in and knock Sorbo down a peg or two.
