When it’s your first late night talk show appearance, it’s important to dress for success. And nothing says “success” like the suits from Dumb and Dumber.
That’s the attitude of Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer from Broad City, at least, as the ladies marked their late-night debut yesterday by eschewing the traditional female garb and donning Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels’ signature suits instead. Naturally, this was a big talking point, as was Broad City’s writing process and critical success.
“Old Hollywood charm” indeed.
